I have been practicing Feldenkrais and Qi Gong for nearly 25 years. I believe we are on a continually growing path and are here to become more vital and embodied beings. One of my goals is to help you develop your sense of curiosity as you pursue your own graceful healing and learning.

I call myself a Feldenkrais–based PT. In 1988, I had been working for three years as a physical therapist. I was dissatisfied with the limitations of traditional PT. My role as a healer was going to require a more integrative and holistic paradigm. I found Feldenkrais.

In 1994, I completed a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner(cm) training. I have practiced professionally since then, applying my Feldenkrais training to my work as a PT. I teach Feldenkrais classes, one of the most popular being my ATM® series Walking Green Lake. People have been walking Seattle’s Green Lake with increasing awareness since 2000.

Also in 2000, I discovered Qi Gong. In my traditional fashion, I embarked on a training program, this time at the Ling Gui International School of Qi Gong in Portland, OR. I certified as a teacher in 2005, and have offered classes and workshops since. In 2010, I became a Master Healing Qi Gong Teacher, which I incorporate into my Feldenkrais-based physical therapy work. My personal practices also include mindfulness meditation, Nature-based Shamanism,Vipassana, and simply being in Nature.

Just as my personal practices increase my own awareness, I believe you can cultivate awareness skills to influence yours. Healing is an alchemical process integrating the physical, emotional, and spiritual.
