Here it is…….the first day of summer in Seattle. We are to have a glorious sunny and just comfortably warm day here. These are precious in Seattle. We have had a cool, damp spring and the shift to fire energy was palpably felt yesterday on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Today, the first full day of summer is to be the same!
As I sit here typing this, I am grateful for this amazing beautiful interconnected Web of Life we live within. I am especially grateful for the diversity of land and culture in the Pacific Northwest. Much gratitude for the little spot on the planet that I occupy.
Summer Solstice in the Pacific NW
We are the Earth……The Earth is us! Never before has the importance of humanity coming to fully REALIZE this fact been true! The cycles of the sun, the moon, the seasons, the planets, and the food we eat all cycle through us just the same as through the Earth. We have just passed through another cycle……do you know it? Do you feel it? How can you honor the Earth within?
So much distraction…… through media, the disembodied intellectual pursuit of knowledge only, addictive food/ other substances, and all of our activities and busyness. The list goes on. Today, and everyday, my hope is the same.
May humanity WAKE UP and access the full height of light, action and manifestation energy available at this time of year. Awaken to YOUR full potential and bring it forth into community and the wider world in your unique way.
